Refund Policy

At Expert Cover Design, we are committed to delivering high-quality, professional design services. Because our services are custom, creative, and labor-intensive, refunds are subject to specific conditions. This policy outlines when refunds may or may not apply, ensuring clarity for both us and our clients.

1. General Terms

All payments made for services are considered final unless stated otherwise in this policy.

Refunds are not guaranteed for dissatisfaction due to creative preference if the agreed project scope and deliverables have been met.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing via our contact us page.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Before Work Has Begun: If the project has not yet started (no concepts, drafts, or work provided), a full refund may be issued minus any transaction/processing fees.
  • Early Cancellation: If the client cancels after partial work has begun but before delivery of initial concepts, a partial refund may be issued based on the hours worked and resources used.
  • Service Unavailability: If we are unable to fulfill the service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, technical issues, or scheduling conflicts), a full or partial refund will be provided depending on the project stage.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following scenarios:

  • After Concepts/Designs Are Delivered: Once initial design concepts or drafts have been shared, the service is considered “in progress,” and refunds are not available.
  • Final Approval: Once the client has approved a design, no refunds will be possible.
  • Subjective Dissatisfaction: If the client is unhappy with the outcome, but revisions and deliverables were provided as per the package purchased.
  • Missed Communication: Failure to provide feedback, required materials, or timely responses that delay or hinder the project.
  • Additional Work Requests: If the client requests services beyond the original scope and declines to pay the extra fees, no refund will be applied for work already delivered.

4. Refunds for Add-Ons & Extras

Add-ons such as rush delivery, extra revisions, source files, mockups, or marketing materials are non-refundable once delivered.

If a rush delivery add-on is purchased but not met due to our delay, we may issue a partial refund equal to the rush surcharge.

5. Revision Policy & Limits

Each package includes a specific number of revisions. Requests beyond the included revisions are billable and not grounds for a refund.

Dissatisfaction with creative direction after exhausting all included revisions is not eligible for a refund.

6. Digital Deliverables & Final Files

Due to the nature of digital design services, once final high-resolution files or source files have been delivered, the order is non-refundable.

Any claims must be raised before the delivery of the final approved files.

7. Special Circumstances

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in exceptional situations, such as:

  • Duplicate payments
  • Technical errors in processing
  • Proven failure on our part to deliver agreed deliverables within a reasonable timeframe

8. Dispute Resolution

If a client is dissatisfied and requests a refund, both parties agree first to attempt resolution through communication and revision opportunities. If no agreement can be reached, disputes will be resolved in accordance with the governing law specified in our Terms & Conditions.

9. Processing of Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued within 7–14 business days via the original payment method.

Transaction or platform fees (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) may be deducted from the refund.

10. Final Note

By purchasing services from Expert Cover Design, clients acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. Our priority is to provide professional, market-ready designs and excellent service; however, refunds are limited due to the custom and creative nature of our work.
